Lance Armstrong Leaves Cycling In Disgrace

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency just announced that they have banned lance Armstrong for life and will strip him of all 7 titles he won in the Tour de France. The sad decision came only one day after Armstrong dropped his fight to challenge the doping charges. This conclusion to the greatest cycling career in history, will rock the sport for many years to come.

Numerous sources, including former teammates, have claimed that Lance Armstrong took performance-enhancing drugs for years. Former teammate and disgraced cyclist, Tyler Hamilton, has struck a book deal that will delve very deep into the drug use of Armstrong and many other professional cyclists. “The Secret Race” will be released Sept. 18, which he claimed was a story that needed to be told.

Hamilton tells how white lunch bags, that contained a protein hormone called EPO, were brought to him and other members of the United States Postal Service team, including Lance Armstrong. Co-author of his book, Daniel Coyle, verified Hamilton’s story by talking with several former teammates and many other sources.

The USADA not only accused Armstrong of using the illegal drugs, they also claim that he trafficked in them by distributing the drugs to other cyclists and covering up numerous doping violations. Lance Armstrong says he will not address the issue any longer. He will move forward with his mission of fighting cancer, raising his five beautiful kids and trying “to be the fittest 40-year old on the planet”.

Lance Armstrong will leave the sport he loved in disgrace. Many people have supported the world champion cyclist and they will continue to do so. The Lance Armstrong Foundation has helped millions of people with their fight against cancer. His motto LIVESTRONG continues to inspire millions every day.
