Mitt Romney Playing Politics With Fake Relief Rally In Ohio

GOP Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is once again playing politics with the health and security of the American people. Not only is he giving away anti-Obama shirts at a campaign rally in Ohio, Gov. Romney tried to get a photo-op done with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie who has praised the President for his efforts in working with state officials during the emergency efforts of Hurricane Sandy.

Gov. Christie shot back at Mitt Romney saying, he was not in the “least bit” interested in playing “presidential politics.” That’s the difference between leadership and an empty suit. Mitt Romney is getting pummeled with insults from around the country for politicizing a fake disaster relief effort and instead holding a political event in the most important swing state of them all.

Jackie Kucinich, who is a reporter for USA Today, was shocked to see a campaign video playing on a loop at the “Storm relief event”, while apparently there was “an area roped off for supplies.” CNN’s Jonathan Karl showed a photo of two ladies holding up canned goods alongside a shirt that says “Obama: You’re Fired.”

Politico’s James Hohmann was at the event and said “after the standard Romney bio video played at relief event in OH,” they played Kiss’ “Detroit Rock City” and Whitesnakes’s “Here I go again.” Then after that, the party revved up with “Dancing in the street” which includes a lyric about New York City, which is under water.

For presidential nominee Mitt Romney to politicize a disaster, such as Hurricane Sandy, is too pathetic to comprehend. The hypocrisy of his campaign and his hate for FEMA or any other federal department that is set up to help people that are struggling, is so insensitive to everyday Americans, he could not possibly be counted on as the leader of the free world. It’ time to put away childish things.
