Universal Studios Releases Seventh Season of “The Office”, Steve Carell’s Last
Steve Carell departs after seven seasons of “The Office”, one of the funniest half our shows on television. Universal Studios has released the final season of the show with Steve Carell from their Home Entertainment division. It will be available September 6, on BLU-RAY and DVD. The seventh season feature guest stars such as Amy Ryan, Jim Carrey, Ray Romano, Will Arnett, James Spader, Catherine Tate and Warren Buffet.
Many fans will miss the lovable office manager, often politically incorrect and always clueless Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell. The show will continue with a powerhouse cast that includes, Ed Helms, Jenna Fisher, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Leslie David Baker, Creed Bratton, B.J. Novak, Phyllis Smith, Craig Robinson, Kate Flannery, Zach Woods, Paul Lieberstein, Ellie Kemper, Mindy Kaling and Angela Kinsey.
The office premiered in 2005 and was based on a huge BBC hit. The show has collected numerous awards including an Emmy award in 2006 for Best Comedy Series. Many other awards include a Producers Guild Award, Peobody Award, a Sag Award by a Comedy Ensemble, Television Critics Award, Writers Guild Award, AFL Honors and an Eddie Award given to their editing department.
Season Eight will be starting in the upcoming fall, but it will be hard to move on without the star of the show. Steve Carell is a Mega-Star in both movies and T.V. The show is hoping to continue its brand of zany comedy that many have enjoyed over the years.
